Apple may launch new entry-level iPad in January 2025: What to expect

 Apple's 2024 iPad refreshes leave only the entry-level iPad to be refreshed, and the 11th generation is expected to drop in early 2025 with significant performance boosts. According to a report by *9To5Mac*, the iPad 11 will most likely be powered by the A17 Pro chip, which will boost performance and enable Apple's AI features, called Apple Intelligence. The upgrade mirrors the performance leap seen in the latest iPad Mini.



Also said to be an Apple product utilizing the company's own modem for Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity, which might not offer mmWave 5G connectivity. The new iPad 11 will run on iPadOS 18.3 that likely will be accompanied by the iPad 11 announcement in early 2025.


Other than the iPad, the following are major product updates coming from Apple this 2025:

- **iPhone SE 4**: The next iPhone SE should be with a new A18 chip and also have the style of the design of the 14th variant. It shall have a better OLED display size, Face ID, improved camera configuration, and would have more working hours.

 - **M4 MacBook Air**: The Macbook Air by Apple will possess the M4 chip and an initial variant could have 16GB of RAM. The entire design would maintain its portability in the lightweighed structure.

- **iPad Air**: The 2025 refresh will probably feature the M3 chip and new accessories, including a Magic Keyboard designed specifically for Air models.
